One of the most amazing features of Coopers Rock State Forest is its rapidly changing climate. A warm, 90 degree day in Morgantown might see temperatures in the low 70's in the summer time at the Forest, and cold, drizzly days in town might see 6 inches of snowfall in the Forest.
